Inclusivity is a core component of a Lafayette education. This academy will immerse participants in semester-long experience focused on inclusive teaching to advance instructional excellence at the College. Faculty will attend 1.5 hour monthly meetings, read materials on inclusive teaching, discuss research-supported strategies for inclusion, develop their own goals for inclusion for the semester, implement strategies, and discuss and obtain feedback on their efforts with colleagues. All tenure-line, visiting, and adjunct faculty of any experience level with regards to inclusive teaching are invited to apply to join in the Spring 2021. Please note that this academy will be held virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All participants who complete the requirements of the academy will receive a certificate of completion.
