There are many ways to provide a study abroad experience for our students, but the goals are often similar despite the variety of course models.  Our courses can be as short as two or three weeks, or as long as a semester.  The issue for this learning community is to consider the pedagogical challenges and opportunities for each of these course types, and to reinforce the study abroad experience as a core value of our curriculum.

This page is an important mode of communication between those who are interested in the pedagogy of study abroad.  Please post your questions, comments, suggestions, or new sources of information here.  And please respond to the postings of your colleagues.

The following are faculty who have joined this learning community.  If you would like to be included, please contact Alan Childs
