Professor Eric Hupe creates virtual tours of Italian art and architecture for his students in Art 223, Italian Renaissance Art, where they are able to see Ambrogio Lorenzetti’s frescoes in the Sala dei Nove in the city of Siena, and they can tour Renaissance architecture that revives ancient models in Pienza, Tuscany. While typically these are experienced using VR while lecturing, this fall Professor Hupe provided the narration to some of the tours to accommodate for remote learning.
