CITLS Welcomes New Director & Previews Fall 2025 Programming

We’re excited to share the latest edition of CITLS’ Teaching & Learning Newsletter, featuring a warm welcome to Dr. Laura Murray, the new Director of CITLS. Laura brings a wealth of experience in faculty development and student learning, having previously served at Princeton University and founded the non-profit GradTLC. Her passion for inclusive, effective teaching and community-building will be a tremendous asset to the Lafayette academic community.

This issue also includes a Fall 2025 programming preview, with returning favorites and new initiatives, including:

• Teaching Squares Program – Peer observation and reflection to enhance teaching practices.
• New Faculty Learning Community – A year-long support network for first-year faculty.
• Student Pedagogical Partnership Program for New Faculty – Feedback on the classroom learning environment from trained student partners.
• Communities of Practice – Focused, community groups for International Faculty & Staff and those interested in Immersive Technologies and Generative AI.
