Nandini Sikand

As a 2021 – 22 CITLS Distinguished Teaching Fellow, Nandini Sikand, Associate Professor and Chair of Film and Media Studies explored strategies for teaching courses that address issues of race and gender through an abolitionist lens. She is particularly interested in how teaching these topics impacts the dynamics of the classroom environment for all learners especially students of color.
