
The Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning and Scholarship supports the inclusive teaching efforts of all Lafayette faculty. The Center offers a number of programs, services and resources, including
- The Inclusive Teaching & Excellence Series, which includes professional development sessions facilitated by CITLS staff, invited speakers, faculty, administrators, and our 2020 – 2021 Distinguished Teaching Faculty Fellows pursue important topics during this time of uncertainty and move to various online teaching modalities.
- Inclusive teaching sessions at theĀ New Faculty Orientation and the inaugural Course Design Institute to be held in June 2021
- A number of online resources including a student podcast, guides written by students, and more to further efforts
Ninety-five percent of respondents from an assessment of the impact of the 2018 – 2020 Inclusive Teaching & Excellence series sessions indicated that the event(s) helped changed their mindset, encouraged them to incorporate a new teaching strategy, or led to other benefits.
