Lafayette General Course Syllabi Requirements

The Curriculum & Educational Policy (CEP) committee requires the following elements to be included on all Lafayette syllabi:

• course objectives,
• learning outcomes,
• grading policy,
• academic honesty statement,
• course bibliography/reading list,
• in the case of Common Course of Study requirements, evidence that the course meets the outcomes required,
• in the case of a writing requirement, evidence that the course meets the College requirements, and
• federal credit hour compliance statement.

*Additionally, please be aware that the faculty handbook states: “No fifty-minute or longer examinations are to be administered during the fourteenth week of each semester.”
