Dr. Addy serves as the Director of the Center for the Integration of Teaching, Learning and Scholarship at Lafayette College. She has a B.S. in Biology (Duke University), M.Phil. in Experimental Pathology (Yale University), and Ph.D. in Science Education (North Carolina State University). Prior to serving as the Center Director at Lafayette, she was the Associate Director of Faculty Teaching Initiatives at the Yale Center for Teaching and Learning and Co-director of the established Summer Institutes on Scientific Teaching, a national initiative focused on training faculty on the principles of evidence-based teaching. Before engaging in full-time faculty development work, Tracie taught at the undergraduate level for ten years. She actively publishes in faculty development and science education, primarily on the topics of active learning, case-based learning, the intersections between active learning and technology, and inclusive teaching. Tracie enjoys working with faculty from all disciplines to promote teaching excellence.
