CITLS staff members view the diversity of our Lafayette population as an asset. We are committed to partnering with faculty members on their inclusive teaching efforts to create equitable classroom environments that foster our students’ sense of belonging to the institution.  CITLS offers opportunities for faculty members to obtain individual support on their inclusive teaching efforts; workshops, panels, speaker presentations, and discussions through the Inclusive Teaching and Excellence series; the Inclusive Instructors Academy; and focused sessions during orientations and course design institutes. We view student voice as a critical component of this work and coordinate student-faculty pedagogical partnerships that advance inclusive teaching efforts. More information about CITLS’ services, programs, and resources focused on inclusive teaching can be found on our website.
