CITLS is actively engaged in the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and supporting faculty members in their SoTL efforts. The Center facilitates a community of practice (CoP) with faculty and staff members who are interested in conducting SoTL work or who are already engaged in such projects. CITLS also publishes SoTL articles in collaboration with faculty members. All members of the CoP are given a copy of the book Engaging in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning to guide their SoTL efforts, and invited to meetings typically held several times a semester to provide time, space, and support on their SoTL projects.
